This kit is designed to convert Sony XAV-AX3700, XAV-AX4000, XAV-AX6000, and XAV-9000ES head units into a shallow chassis head unit.  This will reduce the overall mounting depth of the unit from 4.50", down to just 2.65"!  All wiring connections are converted to come out of the bottom of the unit as well.  Instead of the rear.  This gives even more extra space behind the unit.   

When used with the iDatalink Maestro KIT-CHA1, the chassis of the head unit will bolt into the brackets of the CHA1 kit without any modification needed. I have not tried on other kits as of yet.

Included in Kit:
(1) Lower Bracket "A"
(1) Upper Bracket "B"
(6) M3x8mm bolts. Bolts can be threaded directly into plastic brackets. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
(1) 60-pin FFC ribbon extention
